About Pharmaceutical Technical University
Pharmaceutical Technical University (PTU) was established in 2022 in accordance with a Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. The University is located within the Innovative Research and Industrial Cluster — Tashkent Pharma Park.
PTU operates in strategic collaboration with leading international higher education institutions, including the University of Sunderland and De Montfort University (United Kingdom), as well as Yonsei University (Republic of Korea). These partnerships support the development and delivery of internationally benchmarked academic programmes in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Management and Data analytics.
The official language of instruction and institutional communication is English. All academic programmes are validated and delivered in alignment with international partner standards, and internal and external correspondence with international stakeholders is conducted in English.
Main duties & Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain the international relations of the University
- Assistance in the organization of international events
- Close assistance in visa and local registration arrangements for international staff and students
- Preparing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and fostering international cooperation
- Monitoring for opportunities in various international academic project and collaborative grants
- Maintaining relationship with international partners, professional bodies and donor organisations to foster international networking of the University
- Organizing and attending meetings with different stakeholders.
- Leading on events planning and coordination.
- Preparing materials for meetings and events.
- Writing content in Uzbek, English and Russian.
- Updating data base for contacts, activities and established forms of cooperation
- Following up with all communication channels according to strategy.
Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline
- Master degree desirable
- English language proficiency to a level equivalent of an Academic member of staff
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in related areas
- Management of people or the understanding and aptitude of managing
Skills and Abilities
- Well-organized, able to work with deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English, Uzbek and Russian languages
- An analytical mind with attention to details.
- Good organizational skills.
- Computer Skills Ms. Office (Word, Excel, outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strength of mind and absolute integrity
- Open-mindedness and effective communication skills both oral and written
