- Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to the Head of Legal, management, and operational units including clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and support teams on routine and moderately complex matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including medical services agreements, procurement and supply contracts, laboratory agreements, consultant and physician contracts, equipment and maintenance agreements, NDAs, leases, and IT/software agreements.
• Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, and internal policies relevant to healthcare, laboratory, and related operations.
• Assist with licensing, accreditation, certifications, permits, renewals, and regulatory filings for clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and related services.
• Support governance processes by preparing and reviewing internal approvals, resolutions, minutes, powers of attorney, and other corporate documents under the guidance of the Head of Legal.
• Assist with employment and medical staff matters, including contracts, HR documentation, disciplinary processes, conflict of interest issues, and terminations.
• Support patient-related legal matters, including review of patient documents, complaints, consent forms, service terms, access to medical records, and routine billing disputes.
• Assist in handling disputes, claims, and investigations, including document collection, legal correspondence, case summaries, and coordination with external counsel.
• Identify legal and compliance risks in contracts, projects, and operations, suggest mitigation measures, and escalate sensitive matters when needed.
• Draft, review, and update legal templates, internal procedures, consent forms, confidentiality documents, and selected policies.
• Support matters related to personal data, medical records, confidentiality, and data-sharing, including coordination on data protection and incident response.
• Review procurement, tender, and vendor documents, ensuring appropriate contractual protections, service levels, and compliance requirements.
• Provide legal support on day-to-day operational matters affecting clinics, hospitals, and laboratories, including vendor issues, outsourced services, and internal escalations.
• Support local and cross-border partnerships, service arrangements, cooperation agreements, and other commercial or operational projects.
• Assist with coordination and communication with external legal advisers on assigned matters.
• Support legal awareness activities and provide basic guidance to staff on contracts, compliance, and internal policies.
• Prepare legal summaries, contract updates, internal reports, and maintain proper legal records and document management.
- Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor of Laws from one of Uzbek law schools
Master of Laws from internationally recognised university, obtained through on-campus study abroad
• 4–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law, commercial law, contract law, labour law, regulatory compliance, licensing, and dispute support.
• Prior experience in the healthcare, life sciences, medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or other regulated sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and providing legal support to operational or business functions.
• Experience in advising on employment matters, compliance, internal policies, governance documentation, and day-to-day legal matters will be an advantage.
• Experience in supporting claims, disputes, investigations, regulatory matters.
• Experience working with clinics, hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, or healthcare groups will be an advantage.

• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of corporate, commercial, labour, regulatory, and healthcare-related legal matters.
• Ability to identify legal risks and propose practical and commercially sound solutions.
• Experience in preparing legal memoranda, policies, internal guidelines, resolutions, formal correspondence, and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and maintain accurate legal documentation.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and records management in regulated environments.

Language skills:
• Fluent in Uzbek, English, and Russian, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Turkish and German would be an advantage.
