We are seeking a Production Manager who will play a key role in the commissioning and start-up of our manufacturing facility in Tashkent.
Job Description
- Lead and actively participate in the plant commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up phases of the factory
- Establish and implement production processes, workflows, and operational standards
- Manage and oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety
- Plan and optimize production schedules in line with demand forecasts
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams
- Manage production budgets, cost control, and resource utilization
- Recruit, lead, train, and develop production teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in agricultural chemicals or chemical production
- Hands-on experience in plant commissioning, factory start-up, or new line installation is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of chemical production processes, equipment, and safety standards
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and EHS systems is a strong advantage
- Good command of English (Turkish is a plus)
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to take ownership in a start-up manufacturing environment
